Driving in these conditions are both dangerous and uncertain.  If you have a 4 wheel drive it still doesn’t afford you the ability to be safe.  The real issue is getting traction or a footing.  This is a reminder for our life …if we don’t have a proper footing or we lose traction in the scriptures we will not only be sliding but living life on thin ice.  I hope your getting traction in the Word of God……May we be carried away one day not slip slidin’ away!!!!!

Today is a reminder of what scripture tells us is heaven sent.  Snow is referenced 24 times beginning in Exodus and concluding in Revelation.  To some snow is a bother, yet others consider it a blessing.  Their is nothing as bright and pure that calls all of us to remember that as bad as we have messed up…as bloody as our sin is..that they will become as white as snow.  The snowflakes that are collected today speak of the handiwork and the unique Majesty of Our God.  To picture snow is the framework of  His Image ..” His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow”  Revelation 1:14……………. Let it SN*W !!

I truly believe so often our lives can quickly become unbalanced…..I was just thinking, when we spend quality time ( Face Time) with Our Creator, then things work out much better.  Let’s all take the challenge of burying our Face…in the..Book.  Let us” Face” the Fact that Our Savior is so loving toward us!!  Face Him as He Faces you!!! Face Time  is the Best way to communicate!!!  Lets see How many people post this on their wall !!

I love it when God blesses his children with surprises.  We respond by saying ” that was out of the blue”…Truly as a loving Father wants to give his children gifts, so our loving God wants to surprise you and I with His limitless riches.  Look around and take note today of the love gifts He has sent you!! Every good and perfect gift comes from above!!

Imagine if at your funeral there were only 3 people that attended…I can say today I was one of the 3 in the room for a lady I never met…It was a sad thing to know that this woman left behind a tragic legacy and string of broken  relationships…No matter what you say the life of this person has spoken volumes!! Your life while being lived speaks volumes it’s called LEGACY! What about your life ??? When the sun set’s will it be a happy or sad setting??

O yes I know its that time again…I am pumped for some hard hitting, pulse pounding, speed burning, touchdown scoring to begin.  Anybody else excited about it??  I realize that this excitement will be released from the comfort of my own home , or if I am blessed to maybe catch a glimpse of the Buckeyes or Bengals from the “Horse Shoe” or Paul Brown Stadium.  Isn’t it funny that we get pumped up about something we are just watching.  Life is not a spectator sport and if we are ever going to be apart of something greater than ourselves we must leave the safety and security of the bleachers.  Come on people put the helmet  and  pads on …snap on the chin strap, and get in the huddle. You can continue to be a rabid fan and hope for a win for your favorite team or you can run out on the field and participate in the greatest team ever assembled…It’s called The Church.

We are enjoying our family time together visiting Washington D.C., and now at the beach…no alarm clocks! Ahhhhh… Our love to you!
