Sometimes I find this journey is much like being in the ocean!!¬† I enjoy time spent either body surfing, or boogie boarding.¬† This is the way someone can surf without having to balance or stand up.¬† To really catch the wave you have to be set up, and wait!!! Sometimes you can see the next set of waves and it gets more and more exciting, while other times it is quick to get to you and you better be ready…I am experiencing more of those times as I walk with God..You Know!!¬† The times when you are expecting things and God just sweeps over you and overwhelms you..( In A Good Way ) I am looking for that BIG WAVE all the time, and you can tell when you were in the right place…because the ride which is unlike any other will exhilarate you take the breath from you, and leave you screaming for more…If you want to “Hang Ten” you gotta get in the water and be expecting and looking for the next set of waves!!

Many of us can hum the tune to the Bobby Mc Ferrin classic ” Don’t Worry Be HappY!!” The question is can we hum the biblical tune found in Philippians 4:6¬† ..” Be anxious for nothing…but in everything by prayer and supplication..let your requests be made known unto God….and the PEACE of God will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”¬† What are you so worried about today??¬† Most things that we worry about are out of our control anyway.. I continue to learn that the best way to handle things is to let God handle it!!

Tomorrow my Mom will be facing surgery for breast cancer.¬† Am I worried??¬† No!! I have found peace and confidence in my Lord as I lay my needs, and the needs of others at His feet.¬† What are you holding?? “¬† So here’s a little song He wrote.. you might want to sing it note by note..Don’t Worry….Be Prayerful!! “
