Amish Spring Break
While most people were booking travel to Cancun, or Ft. Lauderdale with the sights and sounds of the ocean, we ( Ferrell Clan ) made our way to the North East of Ohio.¬† That’s right not Orange County, but Holmes County.¬† What a great time!!¬† We spent two days with 2 different Amish families. These days were complete with buggy rides, food and good old fashioned fellowship.¬† What a break to not be bothered with cell phones or just the busy pace of life.¬† We learned more about their culture, and felt very welcomed without any feeling of being judged for our modern ways.¬† We arrived back @ home a little more rested, and ready to tackle what is next.¬† Some of you may ask if a trial of Amish life is in my future??¬† I think I could handle the beard thing, but unfortunately¬† putting¬† a G.P.S. on the buggy would be frowned upon….It would be tough but I was reminded a simpler life is a less anxious life!!
